Okay.
So the last 2 posts when finished were a bit of a let down.
It was the photos....
STUPID blogger.
The maximum size you could make them using this platform wasn't...
well....MAXIMUM ENOUGH for ME.
They were teeny tiny.
But I've fixed that thankyou fellow frustrated *ploggers!
*Not a typo, it's when your a Photo BLOGGER= PLOGGER! Maybe it should be PHLOGGER...
but that sounds painful for you on the receiving end, so let's stick with plogger.
Anyway, small photo problem FIXED.
I'll go into more detail about where her clothes, accesories and shoes came from in a couple of days, as well as showing you her guestbook etc, but for now I
would just like to show you some pretty photos...
Candle ceremony.
Distracted from the job at hand.
She's not used to sitting so close to the altar, us hardcore Cath's usually sit up
the back....
A quiet moment between us.
Receiving His Most Precious Blood.
Celebrations at St Anthony's Glenhuntly Parish Hall.
(Flowers a gift from Sarah Lucas, not knowing how perfect they fit in)
The candy boutonniere table. Everyone could fill a bag with what they wanted to
take home.
White for Purity.
Blue for Mary's mantle.
Pink just because she's a little girl....
Another view of the table.
Cupcakes made by Annabel's daddy.
(I'm still cringing that after all the work put in, he got sloppy and didn't use
the piping bag- dodgy icing, amazing cupcakes!)
A long time friend, Andrea with the gorgeous Sofia who is the daughter of a friend who met me when I first became a (practising) Catholic. I was 16. Natalie and Eric
make the most INCREDIBLE babies- just look at those big brown eyes...and I swear her eyelashes almost touch heaven- I'm trying to arrange a marriage between Annabel
and her Joseph.
Great friend Matt, signing my baby's guest book.
Beautiful women of God, Chrissy (who knew Timothy) with our photographers wife, and dear friend Gabby.
More Godly women of whom He has graced me with their friendship.
Annie after her dress change (she couldn't walk in the other as the dress was
intentionally long), sitting with a friend from highschool, Teagan.
And lastly, Annabel's amazing cake. I'll give more information in the next couple of days on all of this stuff, but I'll tell you now, this cake was the springboard
for the entire design of the party.
THANKS BE TO GOD.
It was a beautiful, blessed, and graceful sacrament.
But Richard and I were so relieved when it was all over.
We'll never be event planners, that's for sure.
I never plan to hold another party like this again.
But for our Annabel, it was perfect.
Happy St Matthew's feast day everyone!
God be with you.
